Bounty Hunter Pursuit 7133

This LEGO set is a great representation of the heart pounding chase scene between our intrepid Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker. LEGO has done their best to include those little details that add some definite flavor to this set. You have a well modeled LEGO figure of Zam Wessel's speeder, from the color scheme to the opening cockpit. Unfortunately, you also have wings that fall off at unexpected times because of the battle damage that you can cause, but some minor modifications can be made to keep the wings on permanently. Also, the cockpit for the enclosed speeder isn't quite big enough on either side to have a figure's arms down, so Zam Wessel looks like she is cheering when you put her into the cockpit and close it.

The three mini figures included with this set are pretty great. First of all, you have the 'shape shifting' Zam Wessel, a shape shifting bounty hunter. Then you have a younger version of Obi Wan Kenobi, and an older version of Anakin Skywalker. I personally think that Anakin's hair is a little too reminiscent of Han Solo, the padawan's braid should have been a part of the hair, and not printed onto the shirt, and a cape should have been included, though not accurate, to truly distinguish the young Jedi from the young scoundrel, or something could have been done to the figure. The blue lightsabers are a nice touch as well. The mini figure that LEGO could have added to make this set just that much more complete would be an assassin droid, but beggars can't be choosers. As an added note, I really love Zam Wessel's masked and helmeted face, and her rifle is awesome! The Zam Wessel mini figure stands to be one of the coolest LEGO mini figures available for the Star Wars line.

Senator Padme' Amidalla is at risk of an assassination attempt, so Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are assigned to protect her. When an Assassin droid delivers some poisonous insects to the Senator's apartments, and R2-D2's sensors are made for finding asteroids, not bugs, it takes a Jedi to ride an assassin droid back to the assassin, freefall into the cockpit of a moving speeder, and catch a shape shifting bounty hunter through the skyways of Coruscant. Why the bounty hunter didn't just shoot the Jedi with the sniper rifle, I'll never know.
