This particular set is the Starfighter Obi-Wan uses to fly most often. Obi-Wan uses the Starfighter to travel to Kamino, where he is investigating the attempted assassinations against Padme Amidala. As he is attempting to leave Kamino, he is attacked by Jango Fett. Obi-Wan manages to place a tracking device on Fett’s ship and uses the Starfighter to track him down. Fett uses several weapons to try and throw off Obi-Wan, but Obi-Wan proves to be an excellent pilot and out maneuvers the attacks.
Obi-Wan uses the Starfighter to travel to Naboo as well. In order to travel to these distant places, he has to rely on a hyperspace transport ring. The Starfighter is equipped with minimal weapons, and Jedis must rely on their maneuvering skills to avoid being shot down. The small, sleek design of the Starfighter makes it super easy to maneuver through difficult spaces.
