For decades the Lego company has been synonymous with building block play sets. The multi-colored blocks come in every size and shape imaginable. They allow children of all ages to use their own creativity and imagination to build and play. Part of the popularity of Lego comes from the fact that the fun doesn't end with building. This set contains a total of 50 pieces and two Lego figures. The set can build a mini transmitter tower and Darth Maul's speeder bike. The figures are a Darth Maul with his double bladed red lightsaber and a Qui-Gon Jinn with single bladed green lightsaber. The set retails for a mere $5.99, which is a great deal for the two iconic figures alone.

This particular set is based on a scene from Star Wars Episode I, The Phantom Menace. The scene was important to fans for a few reasons. The Phantom Menace was the first film experience for Star Wars fans in a long time and even introduced new fans to the franchise. During this scene we got to see the first major lightsaber duel in the prequel movies. We saw the use of lightsabers in the opening scene, but not like this! This was Jedi vs. Sith and the first time fans saw Darth Maul in full blown action. This is a great set from a classic scene. You get the iconic figures and all at a great low price.
